At Harvester Christian Academy it is our philosophy that after-school events, both academic and athletic, are a vital portion of our program for HCA students. Participation in team sports is an effective way for our students to learn lessons that prepare them for service in God’s Kingdom. Some of those lessons include teamwork, responsibility, commitment, work ethic, humility, being teachable, and concern for others.
Our school also cares for the community. The Harvester Hawks have been blessed with athletic success over the last decades. Today, the Hawks share their success by donating the hardware representing championship wins to the Special Olympics. The trophies, spanning across all sporting events, are utilized by the Special Olympics for their games. We are pleased to be able to support the Special Olympics in this way. Their champion athletes mirror the hard work and effort of our athletes. It is our desire that they are recognized equally for their accomplishments.
Please contact our office if you have questions about athletics at Harvester Christian Academy.
Sincerely,
Greg Forlaw
Harvester Athletic Director
