Harvester Christian Academy stands beside of the parent and church in preparing children today and tomorrow. Studies show that the earlier in a child’s educational process that parent involvement begins, the more powerful the effects. The more parents participate in schooling, in a sustained way, at every level — in advocacy, decision-making and oversight roles, as fund-raisers and boosters, as volunteers and para-professionals, and as home teachers — the better for student achievement.
Surveys also show parent involvement is a key predictor in the success of the school.
Parents are welcome at HCA. Volunteers are needed at every grade in the classroom and on the fields. And, a child is never too old to have lunch with their parent in the cafeteria.
Help your child and HCA achieve goals of excellence. Please contact the school office for volunteer opportunities. 770-942-1583, 201.
For your child’s safety, all visitors (parents included) must first visit the main school office to receive a pass for campus admittance.
